Introduction to Poetry Class

April is National Poetry Month. And spring is the perfect time to delve into poetry. Whether you find yourself newly drawn to poetry or you are a life-time appreciator, this class will provide ample space for your interests. We will discuss foundational poets and poems, explore poetic forms, and respond to writing prompts to create our own poems, which students will have the option to share in a supportive environment. Together we will work to build our appreciation of the craft.

Tuesdays, 6pm-8pm for 4 weeks

April 12, 19, 26, May 3

Open to all levels of experience ages 18+
